Shea moisture, Aunty Jackie,Cantu and Carol's daughter are some of the most popular brands that women of color use on their natural hair. Some products can either work for you,as well as against you. Trying out different products can sometimes end up being very costly. I have personally tried Shea moisture to help put moisture back into my already dry hair and it just made it worse 😢. My hopes were really high but I ended up being soooo disappointed. That meant, on to the next product, and the dry hair struggle continues.
So many products to choose from and yet some are just marketing gimmicks.

I find that the less products I use on my hair the better for me. My hair loves water, coconut oil and shea butter.

ReplyDeleteThe Cantu and Auntie Jackie worked good as detanglers for me but I don't find they keep the hair moist.. it feels almost watery so by the time I unloose their hair it feels so dry...ORS girls works nice and the Olive Oil cream moisturiser as well
