Moisturised Poppin Curls

Lovies, Do you want curls that  pop??? Then follow these simple steps. 1) No deep-conditioning is too much for your moisture craving hair type. So Shoot for a treatment once or twice per week. 2) To make your curls even happier, apply the deep conditioner while you're in the shower allowing the steam to help seal in the moisture. 3) Work the conditioner through the coils, avoiding your roots and concentrating on the ends. 4) Rinse with cool water and leave in a bit of conditioner to protect and coat each strand. There you have it. Curls galore......

Choosing a product

Garnier Fructis Curl Nourish shampoo and conditioner is theeeee holy grail. When I'm done washing my hair it feels so soft and manageable. If I don't use those, then I'll just use the Whole Blends leave in conditioner by Garnier in between washes. Then I moisturize using Lotta Body Coconut and Shea oil. I always receive compliments on work on how lovely my hair smells. It left my hair soooo soft that using excessive products on a daily basis wasn't necessary. Those days when I really needed that sleek look, I would use the Happy Curl Beeswaz Pomade. Those baby hairs just didn't budge.๐Ÿ˜œ.

Liberation Day!!!!

The straight stringyyy ends fraustrated me on a daily basis. So ya girl woke up one Saturday morning , got dressed and headed to Arima into the barber's chair. Twenty minutes later voilaaaa. I'm walking down the stairs feeling ten pounds lighter. I felt sooooo liberated, I was just smiling on my journey home. Lorsh, my kids thought I was crazy when I walked in the door. I rocked my bald head for a couple of days until I decided I'll be a blondie!!! I've been a blondie ever since with no regrets, no worries on what to do with my head on mornings.

Leave and go !!!

The key to maintaining moisture in natural hair is a great leave in conditioner. Mixtress J has an amazing leave in conditioner that works wonderssssss for your hair. Then there's the Irish Moss and my oh my, its a wonderful product that keeps the hair moisturized by only using a small amount rubbed in the palm of your hands and massaged into your hair. I swear by it. It also has a great scent and works well to fight the frizz on those humid days. This thing is sooo good that you can use it as a "wash and go" with no product build up.  Trust meh

Cornrows, twists, updos and puffs are the more popular styles with sooo much versatility you’re gonna want to try them all out. Flat twists with rubber bands or hair clips are perfect for those gals with short hair.   Even twisting your entire head rock it for a couple days then release those coils and transform into a new you!

My big decision

Well ya girl walked into a store to try on some wigs as I didn't know what else to do with my hair. First wig made me look like I was wearing a scooter helmet๐Ÿ˜†. I eventually found one that suited me because combing my hair wasn't an option anymore. I was literally fed up. I clipped off the relaxed ends and rocked the hell out of my wig. I totally slayed it. Lols. But then, the big decision came. To chop or not to chop, and boy was I scared. I took a whole two days contemplating what to do. Guess what I did. Yup !!! off it came ๐Ÿ˜‚
