Moisturised Poppin Curls

Lovies,
Do you want curls that  pop???
Then follow these simple steps.
1) No deep-conditioning is too much for your moisture craving hair type. So Shoot for a treatment once or twice per week.
2) To make your curls even happier, apply the deep conditioner while you're in the shower allowing the steam to help seal in the moisture.
3) Work the conditioner through the coils, avoiding your roots and concentrating on the ends.
4) Rinse with cool water and leave in a bit of conditioner to protect and coat each strand.
There you have it. Curls galore......

My big decision

Well ya girl walked into a store to try on some wigs as I didn't know what else to do with my hair. First wig made me look like I was wearing a scooter helmet๐Ÿ˜†. I eventually found one that suited me because combing my hair wasn't an option anymore. I was literally fed up. I clipped off the relaxed ends and rocked the hell out of my wig. I totally slayed it. Lols. But then, the big decision came. To chop or not to chop, and boy was I scared. I took a whole two days contemplating what to do. Guess what I did. Yup !!! off it came ๐Ÿ˜‚

Leave and go !!!

The key to maintaining moisture in natural hair is a great leave in conditioner. Mixtress J has an amazing leave in conditioner that works wonderssssss for your hair. Then there's the Irish Moss and my oh my, its a wonderful product that keeps the hair moisturized by only using a small amount rubbed in the palm of your hands and massaged into your hair. I swear by it. It also has a great scent and works well to fight the frizz on those humid days. This thing is sooo good that you can use it as a "wash and go" with no product build up.  Trust meh

Trying times

Oh how my transition process was terriblllllle!!. From spending time using rods at night and waking up to a catastrophe in the morning. My hairstyles never came out the way I wanted them to look because the roots and ends were two different textures. I tried flat ironing to help manage it, capital D for disaster! I tried all kinds of cheap oils from Pennywise and they clearly didn't work, I was even more fraustrated and didn't know what else to do. The only hairstyle that really worked for me was finger coils and twist outs. What worked for you? Drop me a line or two ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰
